Room-by-room daycare cleaning
A recurring plan can cover vacuuming and mopping, cleared tables and accessible surfaces, washroom fixtures, staff rooms and agreed waste points. We list each room so centre responsibilities and cleaning tasks remain easy to follow.
- Classrooms and activity-room floors
- Cleared tables and accessible surfaces
- Child and staff washroom fixtures
- Entry, cubbies and agreed corridor areas
- Staff room and office areas
- Waste and recycling points
Toys, sleep equipment and food areas
Toys, learning materials, sleep equipment and kitchen or food-contact items need specific instructions from the centre. They are included only when the task, product and responsibility are agreed. Centre staff retain control of personal belongings and children’s information.
Cleaning and disinfection are separate tasks
Routine cleaning removes soil from a surface. Any requested disinfection task must identify the surface, product directions and centre requirements. A cleaning checklist records work completed; it does not establish a health outcome or replace the centre’s own policies.
After closing and before arrival
Share the last-pickup time, first-arrival time and any room that remains occupied. Identify who can authorize entry, and exchange security instructions separately through an agreed handover. The schedule also needs enough time for floors and surfaces to be ready before staff and children return.
Request a daycare cleaning quote
Provide the address, room list, approximate area, desired frequency, washroom count and the tasks staff currently handle. Use the daycare walkthrough checklist to collect those details without including children’s names or photographs.
